Michael J. Byrne is a New York City area lawyer and currently is one of the partners within the Byrne and O’Neill law firm. Specializing in a variety of legal matters, Michael is well versed in litigation, surety law, environmental, ethics, and construction law. He and his law firm lead the industry in the law disciplines of risk management, corporate practice, and transactional negotiations.
Leading the practice, Michael, along with Kevin O’Neill and fourteen other lawyers operate out of New York City, Syracuse, Stamford, CT, and West Orange, NJ, practicing within the state, and federal courts in all three states. . Michael has over a quarter century of experience in the construction niche of law practice, making him an authority in the space. After earning his undergraduate degree from Boston University, he went on to pursue and receive his Juris Doctorate from St. Johns Law School in the early 80s.
Michael is admitted to the bars within the Connecticut, New Jersey and New York where he has serviced clients ranging the likes of architects, engineers, contractors, accountants, developers, owners, and many more within the construction and design liability sector. Michael has catered his firm’s practice to be ideally sized in order to provide excellent service that is enriched through professional relationships.
